Job Description

We're Hiring: Country Manager (Retirement Plan Services)!

In this role, you will spearhead the establishment and operation of our offshore location in Manila. This individual will play a critical role in overseeing all aspects of the new office, ensuring alignment with our business objectives, and maintaining the highest standards of service delivery. This is an in-office role. Our workspace is currently being established, and we will provide updates on the location and timeline. Candidates should be comfortable working from a temporary space, if needed.

Role: Country Manager (Retirement Plan Services)

What You'll Do:

  • Partner with the client to set up and launch the Manila metro area office, including securing office space, sourcing equipment, technology infrastructure, and hiring staff.
  • Oversee the day-to-day operations of the offshore location, ensuring efficient and effective service delivery to support the client.
  • Manage the budget and financial performance of the office.
  • Recruit, lead, and cultivate a positive workplace culture that not only creates a high-performing team but also encourages employee engagement, minimizes turnover, and develops leaders.
  • Maintain and enhance relationships with client leadership team.
  • Monitor and report on the financial and operational performance of the offshore location, identifying areas for improvement and implementing corrective actions as necessary.
  • Ensure compliance with all local regulations and company policies.
  • Collaborate with client leadership team to align the Manila office objectives with client's broader business strategy.

What We're Looking For:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Management, Finance, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 7-10 years of experience in a senior management role.
  • Experience establishing and managing international operations a plus.
  • Proven experience in financial management, including budget oversight and P&L responsibility.
  • Strong leadership and team management skills, with a focus on building high-performing teams and fostering a positive workplace culture.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a multicultural environment and manage cross-border collaboration.
  • Demonstrated ability to drive change, improve processes, and implement operational efficiencies.
  • Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.Knowledge of local compliance, regulatory requirements, and corporate governance.
  • Fluency in English is required.
