Job Qualifications
Salary will depend on skills, qualifications, and relevant experience.
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Management Accounting, Industrial Engineering, or a related field
Relevant experience in costing, cost accounting, manufacturing, or financial analysis
Supervisory experience is an advantage
Strong knowledge of cost analysis, budgeting, and financial reporting
Experience in preparing and analyzing product costing and production costs
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Excellent attention to detail and accuracy
Proficient in Microsoft Excel and other accounting or ERP systems
Strong communication and coordination skills
Ability to manage deadlines and work effectively with different departments
Job Responsibilities
Prepare and analyze product and production costing
Monitor and evaluate material, labor, and overhead costs
Review costing data and identify variances or discrepancies
Prepare costing reports and provide analysis to management
Coordinate with Production, Purchasing, Finance, and other departments regarding cost-related concerns
Monitor changes in material prices and production costs
Assist in budgeting, forecasting, and cost-control initiatives
Recommend cost-saving opportunities and process improvements
Supervise and guide the costing team
Ensure accurate and timely completion of costing reports and related documents
Perform other duties as assigned by management.
