Concepcion-Carrier Airconditioning Company (CCAC) is looking for a detail-oriented and analyticalCost Accounting Specialistto support costing, logistics cost-to-serve analysis, and balance sheet account management. This role will focus on freight and warehouse cost monitoring, inventory reconciliation, accrual management, and cost optimization initiatives to drive operational efficiency and financial transparency.
Costing & Logistics Cost Analysis
- Provide cost analysis for outbound freight, warehouse-related expenses, and bad cost monitoring
- Track cost-saving initiatives that support business unit optimization projects
- Support costing models for new logistics projects and scenario planning
Balance Sheet & Account Reconciliation
- Prepare account analysis and perform reconciliation of inventory, accruals, and payables
- Investigate abnormal balances and coordinate corrective actions with Business Units and Legal Entity teams
- Ensure proper accruals and provisioning related to Opex, freight variances, excess and obsolete inventory, and aging accounts
Inventory & Goods Movement Monitoring
- Monitor inventory balances and goods movement processes for finished goods, returns, defective, obsolete items, and chargebacks
- Review inventory count reconciliations and ensure closure of variances with proper explanation
Month-End & Year-End Closing Support
- Prepare journal entries and provide support during monthly and annual close processes
- Ensure strict adherence to company policies on payment approvals, inventory adjustments, chargebacks, and capital investments
Qualifications
Education
- Bachelor's degree in BSAccountancy
- CPA/CMA license is an advantage
Experience
- Background inmanufacturing or logistics financeis required
- Working knowledge of generally accepted accounting principles (GAAP)
Technical Skills
- Advanced proficiency inMS Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
- Experience with Business Intelligence tools such asSAP BusinessObjectsis preferred
- SAP knowledge and strong data handling skills are highly valued
