You'll Be Responsible For
- Lead feasibility studies, cost planning and value management, providing clear commercial advice from project inception to completion.
- Support procurement strategy, tendering and contractor selection, preparing contract documentation and facilitating execution.
- Manage valuations, variations, cost control and financial reporting, ensuring robust commercial governance throughout delivery.
- Assess design changes, claims and final accounts, advising on completion, defects and contractual close-out.
- Drive continuous improvement, enhancing systems, processes and commercial outcomes across projects.
- Build strong stakeholder relationships, mentor junior team members and support Mace's net zero carbon ambitions.
You'll Need To Have
- Degree in Quantity Surveying, Cost Management or equivalent, with relevant professional accreditation or progress towards chartership.
- Strong expertise in cost planning, contract administration, procurement, risk management and change control.
- Commercially astute with strong analytical, negotiation and stakeholder management skills.
- Digitally proficient, with knowledge of BIM, sustainability, carbon reduction and industry best practice.
