Role Description The Cost Management and Tax Supervisor is a full-time, on-site role based in Santa Rosa City. The supervisor oversees cost accounting activities, including monitoring manufacturing costs, analyzing variances, and preparing regular cost reports to support management decision-making. The role is responsible for supervising tax planning, tax compliance, and tax preparation activities, ensuring accurate and timely filings in accordance with relevant tax laws and regulations. Day-to-day tasks include reviewing financial statements for tax and cost-related implications, coordinating with internal departments and external auditors, and implementing processes to optimize tax efficiency and cost control. The supervisor also mentors team members, supports process improvements, and ensures adherence to company policies and local regulatory requirements.
Qualifications
  • Candidates should possess skills in Tax Planning and Tax Preparation to support efficient tax strategies and accurate documentation.
  • Candidates should possess skills in Tax Compliance and Tax Law to ensure timely filings and adherence to regulatory requirements.
  • Candidates should possess skills in analyzing and preparing Financial Statements to support cost management and tax reporting.
  • Strong knowledge of cost accounting, budgeting, and variance analysis in a manufacturing or industrial environment.
  • Experience supervising or leading a finance or tax team, with strong coordination and communication skills.
  • Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel, with attention to detail and analytical thinking.
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; professional certification (e.g., CPA) is an advantage.
  • Ability to work on-site in Santa Rosa City and collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
