Job Description

Responsibilities

Develop detailed cost estimates for property maintenance, renovation, and capital improvement projects.
Analyze bids, proposals, and contracts to ensure cost-effectiveness.
Monitor project budgets and recommend adjustments when necessary.
Prepare cost breakdowns for mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and fire protection systems.
Collaborate with engineers, contractors, and suppliers to validate technical and financial feasibility.
Conduct site inspections to verify project progress against cost estimates.
Estimate costs for service contracts (HVAC, elevators, security, cleaning, landscaping).
Support contract negotiations by providing cost analysis and benchmarking.
Track vendor performance and ensure compliance with budgetary constraints.

Job Requirements

Bachelors Degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Civil Engineering, or related field.
35 years of experience in cost estimation, property management, or construction projects.
Background in MEPF systems and facilities management is highly preferred.
Proficiency in cost estimation tools and software (e.g., AutoCAD, MS Project, Primavera, Excel).
Strong knowledge of MEPF systems and building maintenance practices.
