This role coordinates, directs, and leads estimating efforts to ensure optimum costing and coordination of projects and programs to ensure the company meets customer expectations and manufacturing requirements.
Key Responsibilities
- Identify and implement strategies to minimize financial waste across company operations.
- Develop and execute initiatives to boost project profit margins.
- Accurately calculate and report the actual costs associated with each project.
- Analyze profitability and prepare company budget.
- Monitor and prepare weekly/monthly checklist for material, safety and security, revolving fund, subcontractors and meeting form.
- Bachelors Degree in Civil Engineering or any related field.
- Proven experience in cost engineering or cost estimation, preferably in the construction or civil engineering sector.
- Advanced computer skills on MS Office, accounting software, and databases.
- Ability to manipulate large amounts of data.
- High attention to detail and accuracy
- Ability to direct and supervise.
