Cost Controller

Location: Pasig City (Hybrid Work Setup)

About the Role

We are looking for a detail-oriented and analytical Cost Controller to join a growing organization involved in large-scale infrastructure and project-based operations.

The successful candidate will play a key role in monitoring project costs, supporting budgeting and forecasting activities, preparing financial reports, and ensuring the accuracy of project-related expenditures.

Key Responsibilities

• Monitor and track project costs and expenditures

• Assist in budget preparation, forecasting, and cost planning

• Prepare regular cost reports and analyze variances against budget

• Review invoices, claims, and supporting documents to ensure proper cost allocation

• Coordinate with various departments to gather financial and operational information

• Support project financial reviews and audits

• Identify cost trends, risks, and potential areas for improvement

• Ensure timely and accurate financial reporting

• Assist in maintaining project financial records and cost monitoring systems

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Accountancy, Financial Management, Finance, or a related field

• At least 2 years of experience in cost control, project accounting, financial reporting, budgeting, or a related finance function

• Strong financial analysis and reporting skills

• Experience using ERP or financial systems such as SAP, Oracle, or similar platforms

• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel

• Strong attention to detail and analytical skills

• Good communication and stakeholder management skills

• Experience in construction, infrastructure, engineering, EPC, or project-based environments is an advantage but not required
