JOB SUMMARY
The Site QS Cost Control Supervisor is responsible in maintaining the project's financial health through preparation of cost reports and analysis to the Project Team and other company stakeholders.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Preparation of detailed and baseline budget including quantity and cost estimates based on project scope and drawings.
- Supervise senior and junior engineers on site and making sure that the team works efficiently per guidelines and policy.
- Preparation of BOQ, BOM and TOR for project awards from FCD.
- Monitoring of actual costs against the approved budget.
- Preparation of cost reports to provide information and recommendation to the Project Team for financial and budget matters.
- Communicating with all company personnel both within and outside of the team
- Improving cost control awareness for the Project.
- Billing Management of Contractors including validation of calculation sheets, documentary assessment of submitted billing documents and reconciliation with counterparts from the Contractors.
- Preparation of POC recognition reports with the Planning Team.
- Change Order monitoring and evaluation including claims and extension of time.
- Prepares and execute budget transfers and supplemental budget requests needed for the Project.
- Assist in the compilation of the Consolidated Cost Monitoring Report.
- Project contract management such as, but not limited to, correspondences, meetings, negotiations etc.
- Undertaking any further duties which the immediate lead may reasonably require in relation to Cost Control and Project Execution.
QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering field from a reputable College or University and possessing a valid PRC licensed or its equivalent
- 3 to 5 years work experience in Quantity Surveying / Cost Monitoring / Change Orders Monitoring
- Computer Skills: MS Word, SAP, Excel, PowerPoint and AutoCAD
- Proven ability to work creatively and analytically in a problem-solving environment demonstrating teamwork, innovation and excellence
- Good communication (written, verbal and presentation) and interpersonal skills
