Responsible for processing, maintaining, and analyzing cost data to support financial reporting and cost management.
Ensure that daily acceptance of goods delivered to receiving and issuance of inventory from stores are verified and posted to supply change management or SCM.
Ensure food safety requirements compliance at receiving and storeroom.
Monitor daily F&B cost to ensure adherence to budget.
Check and ensure all menu items have a recipe.
Responsible for surprise spot checks at all F&B outlets.
Identify and control areas in the Food and Beverage outlets in terms of wastages and pilferages.
Ensure inventory count is conducted in stores, kitchen production & bar outlet and reconciled to SCM and sun accounting system.
Continuously study weaknesses in F&B control implemented and provide suggestions for improvements.
Generate ad hoc financial reports and analysis to support management decisions.
Perform other tasks that may be assigned by management.
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Hospitality Management or relevant courses.
1–2 years of experience in cost control or a similar accounting role, preferably in the hospitality industry.
Strong knowledge of inventory systems, cost accounting, and procurement processes.
Have a high-level attention to detail and strong analytical skills.
Good verbal and written communication skills and organizational abilities.
Ability to multitask, work in a fast-paced environment.
Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
Proficient in Microsoft Advance Excel and hotel accounting software (e.g., Opera, SCM, Sun Systems).
Must be able to work with different nationalities.
Preferably had a five (5) star hotel experience.
Must have good knowledge of food & beverage cost control.
