Job Description

Job Summary

This role will be primarily responsible for managing and reconciling inventory and fixed asset accounts, ensuring accurate general ledger entries, and maintaining compliance with ISO documentation standards. The ideal candidate will have strong accounting knowledge, excellent organizationalskills, and experience in process documentation and controls.

Role and Responsibilities:

  • Maintain and reconcile general ledger accounts related to inventory and fixed assets.
  • Perform monthly, quarterly, and year-end close activities, ensuring timely and accurate reporting.
  • Track and record fixed asset acquisitions, transfers, disposals, and depreciation in accordance with company policy and accounting standards.
  • Collaborate with the operations and supply chain teams to ensure accurate inventory reporting, valuation, and physical inventory counts.
  • Support the preparation and review of journal entries related to inventory movements, cost of goods sold, and asset capitalization.
  • Assist in implementing and maintaining internal controls over inventory and asset accounting.
  • Serve as the ISO documentation coordinator for the finance department:
  • Maintain up-to-date documentation in line with ISO standards.
  • Coordinate with internal and external auditors for ISO-related audits.
  • Ensure compliance with documented procedures and support process improvements.
  • Prepare audit schedules and respond to queries from auditors as needed.
  • Support finance projects, ERP upgrades, or system enhancements related to inventory and asset modules.

Minimum Requirements:

  • Bachelor of Science in Accountancy. CPA Board Passer.
  • 3+ years of accounting experience, with emphasis on general ledger, fixed assets, an inventory.
  • Experience in a manufacturing or distribution environment.
  • Advance knowledge in cost accounting principles and inventory valuation methods. Strong working knowledge of ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, NetSuite) and Excel.
  • Familiarity with ISO 9001 or similar quality management systems are a plus.
  • Excellent attention to detail, analytical skills, and ability to meet deadlines. Strong communication and collaboration skills.
