Cost Analyst (Manufacturing industry)

Company Background:

A fast-growing precision engineering company supporting the semiconductor industry, providing high-spec manufacturing and customised solutions for global technology clients.

Key Responsibilities

• Analyze product costs (materials, labor, overhead) and perform variance analysis
• Maintain and improve costing models, methodologies, and ERP accuracy
• Partner with operations, procurement, sales, and FP&A on cost insights and pricing
• Deliver COGS analysis, cost reports, and root cause investigations
• Identify cost reduction and process improvement opportunities
• Support budgeting, forecasting, and scenario modelling
• Ensure compliance and audit readiness
• Provide cost analysis for projects, tenders, and strategic decisions (e.g. make vs buy)

Requirements

• 3–5 years in costing / financial analysis (manufacturing preferred)
• Degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field (CMA/CPA a plus)
• Experience with ERP systems (SAP/Oracle) and strong Excel
• Strong analytical, communication, and stakeholder management skills
• Able to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
