Job Description

Duties And Responsibilities

Prepare and maintain accurate cost of production reports (materials, labor, overhead).
Monitor and analyze standard costs vs. actual costs; investigate and explain variances.
Maintain and update Bill of Materials (BOM) and product costing structures.
Perform inventory valuation, reconciliation, and periodic physical count support.
Analyze manufacturing overhead allocation and recommend improvements.
Assist in pricing decisions by providing cost analysis and margin insights.
Support budgeting and forecasting related to production costs.
Ensure proper recording of work-in-progress (WIP) and finished goods.
Handle tax reconciliation and support preparation of tax provisions.
Assist in tax audits, assessments, and BIR inquiries.
Monitor updates in tax laws and assess impact on operations.
Ensure proper tax mapping of transactions, including input/output VAT and ATC classifications.
Support tax planning initiatives to optimize compliance and efficiency.

Minimum Qualifications

Bachelors degree in Accountancy, Accounting Technology, or related field.
Open to fresh graduates; experience in cost accounting, inventory, or tax is an advantage.
Preferably CPA or CPA candidate, but not required.
Basic knowledge of:
Cost accounting principles (standard costing, inventory valuation, variance analysis)
Philippine taxation and BIR compliance (VAT, withholding taxes, income tax)
Proficient in Microsoft Excel (e.g., formulas, pivot tables, basic data analysis).
Familiarity with accounting systems or ERP (e.g., Navision, SAP, Oracle, QuickBooks, Odoo) is an advantage.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
Good communication and coordination skills, especially with operations and warehouse teams.
Willing to be assigned in a manufacturing environment and participate in inventory counts (including extended hours if needed).
High level of integrity and accountability.
