ACMobility is looking for a Cost Specialist to support accurate cost management, inventory valuation, and financial analysis within the Shared Distributor – Accounting team.
The role is responsible for analyzing cost structures, monitoring inventory movements, and providing actionable insights to support pricing, profitability, and financial integrity. Working closely with cross‑functional teams, the position ensures compliance with accounting standards while enabling data‑driven decisions across the organization.
Roles And Responsibilities
- Analyze landed cost, importation expenses, foreign exchange exposure, and overall cost structures
- Perform variance analysis on margins and inventory and identify root causes with supporting recommendations
- Ensure accurate and compliant inventory valuation for vehicles and parts
- Monitor inventory aging, adjustments, and discrepancies between physical and system records
- Prepare cost, margin, and inventory reports with clear analysis and actionable insights
- Reconcile sub‑ledgers with trial balance and resolve discrepancies in coordination with accounting teams
- Support pricing analysis by providing cost inputs and evaluating profitability scenarios
- Prepare cost files and ensure completeness of costing prior to invoicing
- Monitor and ensure adherence to accounting policies, internal controls, and regulatory requirements
- Support internal and external audits through preparation of schedules and documentation
- Coordinate with Logistics, Sales, Aftersales, Treasury, and Finance to validate cost data and resolve issues
- Identify process gaps and recommend improvements to strengthen controls and reporting accuracy
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field; CPA is an advantage
- At least two years of experience in cost accounting, inventory accounting, or related finance roles
- Strong understanding of cost accounting principles and inventory valuation
- Knowledge of importation costing, landed cost computation, and related financial processes
- Proficiency in SAP Business One modules including accounts payable, inventory, and costing
- Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel
- Strong analytical mindset with attention to detail and accuracy
- Good communication and coordination skills
- High level of integrity and ability to meet reporting deadlines
