Job Summary
What you need to know about the job
The Cost Accounting Staff provides support in recording, monitoring, and analyzing all production-related costs to ensure accurate computation of the Cost of Goods Manufactured (COGM) and Cost of Goods Sold (COGS). They assist in maintaining accurate cost records, updating Bill of Materials (BOMs), monitoring inventory movements, and preparing cost analysis reports. This position plays a vital role in ensuring that product costing, pricing, and inventory valuation reflect true manufacturing performance and comply with PFRS/IFRS and BIR requirements.
Qualifications
- Bachelors degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business Administration. CPA is an advantage
- Minimum 35 years of experience in cost or management accounting within a manufacturing environment.
- Proficiency in SAP
- Advanced cost and variance analysis
- Strong inventory management and reconciliation skills
- Knowledge of manufacturing processes and BOMs
- Effective cross-department coordination
- Analytical and problem-solving mindset
- Attention to detail and accuracy
- Leadership and team supervision
- Time management and ability to meet deadlines
- High integrity and professionalism
- Knowledge of manufacturing and food industry processes
Curious about the Work Schedule
- Compressed work schedule: Monday to Thursday (7am 6pm) and Friday (7am 4pm)
- No work on Saturdays and Sundays.
