Description:
- Responsible for establishing value of inventory, assessing business expenses, and recommending cost-efficient options
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Analyzes cost accounting data and assist with cycle count/physical inventories
- Prepares detailed account analysis and reconciles sales, cost and inventory, and liability accounts
- Calculates direct labor, material and production costs
- Analyzes and recommends costs and cost savings
- Reviews and documents inventory and material purchases
- Prepares documents and interprets financial information regarding cost improvements
- Maintains company accounting procedures and processes
- Compiles documentation on standard costs and company production costs
- Supports and assists internal department reporting requirements such as audit schedules, tax schedules and others
Qualifications:
- Graduate of BS Accountancy Preferably a Certified Public Accountant (CPA) or a Registered Cost Accountant
- Has at least one (1) year of experience in cost accounting in a manufacturing setup
- Detail oriented
- With good oral and written communication skills
- Computer literate (proficient in advanced Excel)
