Qualifications
Training/Experience/Education
- Bachelor's degree in Accountancy, CPA/CMA license preferred but not required
- 3-5 years of meaningful experience in Cost Accounting preferably manufacturing
- Background in audit or management accounting is an advance
Duties &Responsibilities
- Maintain and monitor standard cost structures and costing system
- Conduct cost, margin ,and variance analysis (materials ,labor, overhead)
- Prepare cost of goods manufactured(COGM),cost of goods sold(COGS), and departments to validate cost data
- Coordinate with Production, Purchasing, Warehouse, and other concerned departments to validate cost data
- Review and analyze inventory movements and reconciliation reports
- Implement internal controls related to costing and inventory valuation
- Assist in internal and external audits
- Supervise and train cost accounting staff
- Perform other cost-related tasks as maybe assigned
