Duties And Responsibilities
INVENTORY & MONTH END CLOSING
- Ensure accurate valuation of raw materials, WIP, and finished goods.
- Perform month-end cost accounting entries and inventory reconciliations.
- Review inventory adjustments and investigate discrepancies.
VARIANCE ANALYSIS
- Analyze material, labor, and overhead variances versus BOM and Routing Cost.
- Monitor recorded Consumption of materials in Production Orders and its impact to FG Valuation.
- Monitor recorded Production Runtimes and its impact to FG Valuation.
- Assist in identification of root causes of production inefficiencies.
- Prepare monthly variance reports for the Financial Controller and management.
COST CONTROL
- Support continuous improvement and cost reduction initiatives.
- Work with Production and Process Management to implement corrective actions.
FINANCIAL REPORTING & COMPLIANCE
- Prepare cost-related financial reports for the Financial Controller, as needed.
- Support in providing Government required reporting related to inventory (e.g. BIR Inventory List, PEZA – EZMPR).
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accountancy, Management Accounting, or related field.
- 3+ years of cost accounting experience in a manufacturing environment.
- Strong knowledge of standard costing and variance analysis.
- Proficiency in ERP systems preferably Microsoft Business Central and Excel.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work cross-functionally with Production and Process Management.
