About the Rol
eThe Cost Accountant is responsible for supporting manufacturing cost accounting activities, including standard costing, variance analysis, inventory valuation, and financial reporting. This role partners closely with operations, plant finance, and regional finance teams to provide accurate costing analysis and business insights to support operational and strategic decision-making

- esPerform standard costing and variance analysis for materials, labor, and overhead cost
- s.Support product costing activities, including cost roll-ups, cost updates, BOM analysis, and inventory valuatio
- n.Prepare and analyze manufacturing cost reports and provide financial insights to support business decision-makin
- g.Support month-end closing activities related to manufacturing costing and inventory accountin
- g.Partner closely with operations, manufacturing, and plant finance teams to ensure costing accuracy and operational alignmen
- t.Identify cost drivers, inefficiencies, and opportunities for cost improvement and process optimizatio
- n.Maintain and ensure accuracy of costing data within ERP system
- s.Support budgeting, forecasting, audit requirements, and internal control/SOX compliance activitie
- s.Participate in process improvement initiatives and system enhancement projects within the finance functio

Qualificati
- ons
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Management Accounting, or related fi - eld.CPA, CMA, or ACCA is an added advant
- age.3–6 years of cost accounting experience in a manufacturing environment, preferably automotive/Tier 1 or Tie
- r 2.Hands-on experience in standard costing, BOMs, routings, labor, and overhead absorpt
- ion.Experience working in an MNC or GBS/SSC environment is prefer
- red.Strong knowledge of manufacturing costing and inventory valuat
- ion.ERP knowledge in CO, FI, and MM modules; QAD experience prefer
- red.Strong Excel skills; Power BI is an added advant
