Technical & Systems Skills
Strong knowledge of:
- Standard cost systems and inventory valuation
- Material, labor, and overhead cost structures
- Month-end close processes related to manufacturing costs
- Advanced proficiency in ERP (CO, FI, MM modules), preferably QAD background.
- Strong Excel skills (pivot tables, lookups, analysis models); Power BI or other analytics tools is a plus.
- Experience supporting audits and compliance with internal controls and SOX requirements.
Analytical & Business Skills
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with high attention to detail.
- Ability to interpret complex cost data and translate it into clear financial insights.
- Skilled in identifying cost drivers, inefficiencies, and improvement opportunities.
- Capable of working with large data sets under tight timelines.

- Effective communication skills to partner with: Operations and manufacturing teams; Plant controllers and regional finance
- Ability to clearly explain financial and costing concepts to non-finance partners.

Experience:
3–6 years of relevant experience in cost accounting, preferably within:
- Automotive manufacturing
- Tier 1 / Tier 2 manufacturing environments
- Multinational or shared services organizations (GBS/SSC)
Hands-on experience with:
- Standard costing and variance analysis
- BOMs, routings, labor and overhead absorption
- Product costing, cost roll-ups, and cost updates
Exposure to plant finance or strong collaboration with operations/manufacturing teams is highly desirable.
Education
- Bachelor's degree in accounting, Finance, Management Accounting, or a related field.
- Professional certification (CPA, CMA, ACCA) is preferred.
