Job Purpose
Corporate Strategic Planner is responsible for analyzing market trends, conducting research, and developing comprehensive plans and strategies to guide the company's growth and success. This person also aids the various business units in achieving growth, operational efficiency and competitive advantage.
Roles and Responsibilities
- Develop and implement comprehensive strategic plans that align with the company's objectives.
- Conduct thorough market research and analysis to identify trends, opportunities, and threats.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather insights and align planning efforts.
- Monitor and evaluate key performance indicators to track progress and adjust strategies and action plans as needed
- Analyze competitors strategies and market positioning to inform decision-making.
- Understand and utilizing economic, financial, and industry data to accurately diagnose business strengths and weaknesses, key issues and opportunities.
- Analyze performance metrics, finance and other related programs to ensure strategies are feasible, relevant, effective and within budget.
- Keep abreast of industry changes, emerging trends, technological advancements, and regulatory environments that may impact the business.
- Continuously seeking (or encouraging others to seek) opportunities for different and innovative approaches to addressing organizational problems and opportunities.
- Influence cross-functional teams to drive the execution of strategic projects.
- Prepare reports, present findings and recommendations to concerned stakeholders.
- Develop strategic relationships through interpersonal style and communication methods.
Qualifications
- Graduate of bachelor's degree course in Economics, Marketing Research, Business Management, Marketing, Finance or any related course.
- With at least 2 years of cumulative experience in corporate/marketing strategic planning.
- Excellent English Communication skills both oral and written.
- Proficient in MS Office.
