JOB SUMMARY
The Corporate Planning Manager serves as a central integration point for the organization's governance, performance, and stakeholder reporting functions. This role owns and manages the full budget and KPI governance cycle — partnering closely with FP&A and leading the year-round OKR/KPI dashboard — while ensuring monthly strategic milestones are communicated clearly to the CEO and ManCom.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Budget & Performance Management
- Acts as gatekeeper of corporate budgets and KPIs; partners actively with FP&A during the annual budgeting cycle to ensure alignment with strategic priorities.
- Maintains and continuously improves the year-round OKR/KPI dashboard — not limited to budget season — providing real-time visibility into performance against targets.
- Prepares and delivers monthly strategic milestone updates to the CEO and Management Committee, synthesizing progress, risks, and recommended actions.
- Proactively flags performance deviations and collaborates with relevant business units to develop corrective action plans.
Stakeholder Management
- Serves as the single intake and coordination point for all Aboitiz Group submissions; owns and maintains the 12-month Parent Reporting Calendar.
- Ensures all corporate reports submitted to the Parent Company are timely, accurate, and fully aligned with the parent's business narrative and strategic direction.
- Performs an editorial review of all business unit inputs prior to Parent submission — enforcing narrative consistency, quality standards, and strategic alignment rather than acting as a mere coordinator.
- Develops and enforces templates and guidelines for business unit reporting to streamline the submission process and reduce revision cycles.
ManCom & Board Meetings Management
- Owns the full governance calendar, including ManCom and board meeting scheduling, paper templates, pre-read distribution timelines, and agenda sequencing.
- Ensures governance meetings are structured and sequenced to facilitate effective alignment on business priorities and clear communication of strategic direction.
- Tracks all action items from ManCom and Board meetings; monitors completion and escalates overdue items to the Head of Strategy & Investments.
- Coordinates with ManCom members and Board Secretariat to ensure materials are complete, reviewed, and distributed according to established pre-read timelines.
