THE POSITION: Corporate Operations Intern 

Seeking a highly motivated and energetic candidate for the position of  Corporate Operations Intern. Well organized, flexible and enjoys the challenge of delivering on time. Has the ability to work in a fast paced environment, sometimes under pressure, remaining flexible, proactive, resourceful and efficient, with a high level of professionalism and confidentiality is crucial to this role. Good communication skills, attention to detail and integrity are critical for this position.

WHAT YOU'LL DO:

  • Record daily financial transactions in the manual books of accounts, including Cash Receipts Book, Cash Disbursements Book, General Journal, and General Ledger.
  • Prepare and issue service invoices to clients with all mandatory details such as invoice number, date, client information, service description, amount, and applicable taxes.
  • Maintain proper filing and safekeeping of invoices and accounting records.
  • Conduct daily collection calls to follow up on outstanding payments.
  • SOA reconciliation with clients.

WHAT YOU'LL NEED:

  • Currently enrolled in or has completed at least 72 units in a Bachelor's degree program in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.  
  • No prior work experience required; training will be provided.  
  • Basic knowledge of bookkeeping and accounting principles is an advantage
  • Good attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Willing to learn and able to work under supervision.  
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality of financial data.
