The Corporate Loan Operations Processing Officer is responsible for supervising the accurate pre-processing (review), approval checking, documentary compliance and timely implementation of loan availments, renewals, extensions, payments, adjustments, reversals, interest repricing and all other related transactions, in accordance with the terms of the instruction sheet.
Responsibilities
- Drive financial and operational performance by supporting cost efficiency, ensuring accurate processing, and meeting turnaround times and audit standards
- Enhance customer service by improving delivery, addressing inquiries, and minimizing complaints
- Review and approve loan transactions (e.g., availments, renewals, payments) ensuring completeness, accuracy, and compliance with policies
- Oversee transaction processing systems (ALS, CAMS, CCAPS, LLMS) including approvals, monitoring outputs, and resolving issues
- Ensure compliance and risk management by enforcing internal controls, regulatory requirements, and identifying and mitigating risks
- Manage post-processing and financial controls including GL/SL reconciliation, resolving discrepancies, approving adjustments, and ensuring tax compliance
- Supervise and support staff through training, performance motivation, and succession planning, while also overseeing ROPA/property-related transactions
- Perform other duties that may be assigned from time to time
Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Business Related Courses
- 1 year extensive experience in banking processes and operations
- Proficient in Lotus Smartsuite and MS Office
- Background in Loan documentation
- People Management and coaching skills
- Highly analytical, organizational, and presentation skills
- Proficiency in oral and written communication
