DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Manages the company's litigation portfolio, including civil, criminal, labor, administrative, and intellectual property cases, as well as appeals, grievance handling, mediation, and arbitration proceedings.
- Provides legal support for claims and disputes, both actual and potential, involving the company and its related entities.
- Ensures compliance with regulatory requirements and applicable laws; monitors legal developments and advises management on regulatory matters affecting business operations.
- Responsible for corporate compliance and legal housekeeping, including the drafting, review, and negotiation of commercial contracts and corporate legal documentation.
- Prepares and reviews contracts and renders legal opinions on operational, commercial, and corporate transactions.
- Provides legal guidance on corporate and commercial projects, including governance, business initiatives, and internal operations.
- Advises management on labor relations and employment law matters, including employee relations, disciplinary cases, labor disputes, and compliance with labor regulations.
- Supports internal business units by providing legal advice in the formulation, interpretation, and implementation of corporate policies and procedures.
QUALIFICATIONS
- At least 5 years relevant experience as a lawyer preferably in a law firm
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
