Job Description

Key Responsibilities:

Corporate Governance

  • Board Committee Communication and Support: Act as the liaison for the Board's subordinate committees, coordinating with committee members on agenda items, closely communicate with management, and external advisors (as required).
  • Committee Meeting Management: Organize, prepare, and support the effective conduct of committee meetings, including confirming agendas with Committee Chairs, collecting, compiling, and distributing meeting materials, scheduling meetings, and assisting in the drafting, tracking, and management of meeting minutes and resolutions.
  • Decision Support and Reporting: Assist in consolidating and preparing professional reports and analytical materials required by the committees, ensuring that all information provided is timely, accurate, and complete to support informed decision-making.

Compliance and Risk Control

  • External Risk and Regulatory Monitoring: Continuously monitor developments in the external legal, regulatory, and policy environment relevant to the Company's business, assess potential risks, and develop and implement corresponding risk mitigation measures and response plans.
  • Compliance Framework and Execution: Develop, enhance, and oversee the implementation of compliance policies and procedures, including the integration of internal control standards for brand reputation and potential risks.
  • Permits and Licenses Management: Manage the application, renewal, and ongoing maintenance of required business permits and operating licenses for the Company and/or its investment projects, ensuring continuous compliance and validity.
  • Government and Regulatory Liaison: Support communications and information submissions to relevant government and regulatory authorities, including the preparation and submission of reports and regulatory documentation.

Qualifications:

  • Education: Bachelor's degree or higher. A background in Law, Finance, Economics, Accounting, or Business Administration is preferred. A CPA certification is a strong advantage.
  • Experience: Minimum of 3 years of relevant working experience. Requirements may be flexible for exceptionally qualified candidates.

Knowledge & Skills:

  • Language Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills in both Chinese and English.
  • Communication & Interpersonal Skills: Outstanding ability to communicate and collaborate across departments, efficiently interacting with senior management, board directors, and external professionals.
  • Project Management: Strong organizational and planning skills, with the ability to manage multiple complex tasks simultaneously while maintaining a high attention to detail.

*This position is based in BGC, Metro Manila, Philippines, and requires regular on-site work during standard working days.

The employment contract will be signed with FutureNet and Technology Corp, a wholly owned subsidiary of China Telecom in the Philippines.
