Responsibilities:
- Conducting thorough and accurate research of potential acquisition targets using various techniques and tools, including:
- Search engines and online databases
- Company websites, financial statements, regulatory filings and investor / public relations materials
- Wall street / industry research reports
- News / media sources
- Benchmark competitor strategies and performance, and research relevant M&A activities for insights.
- Analyzing and interpreting collected data to identify key facts and estimates that facilitate decision-making.
- Preparing and communicating findings in reports and presentations, graphically illustrating data and distilling complex results into clear, concise summaries.
- Perform statistical/financial analysis.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, economics, business administration or a related discipline. 0-2 years of experience on the above responsibilities mentioned.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to collect, analyze and interpret disparate datasets.
- Deep proficiency in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint and Word.
- Solid understanding of financial statements and financial/statistical analysis.
- Strong work ethic, intellectual curiosity, positive attitude, humility and honesty/integrity.
- Collaborative team player with concise oral and written communication skills.
- Determined and solution-focused mindset with excellent project management and problem-solving skills.
