Corporate Communications and Sustainability Manager

Job Summary

The responsibilities of this role include (but may not be limited to) the development, implementation, and evaluation of communication and sustainability programs across SMC Global Power and its subsidiaries. This role will ensure the publication of the company's Sustainability Report using relevant ESG frameworks. The manager will also collaborate and work closely with all the departments for the planning and implementation of sustainability goals and objectives. This role will assist the Head of Corporate Affairs and Sustainability in all other stakeholder management activities of the department.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Communications, Journalism, Multi-Media, or Development Communications
• Minimum of 5 years experience in the field of Corporate Communications and Sustainability
• Strong written (business and creative writing) and verbal communication
• Effective leadership and project management skills
• People management capabilities
• Strategic thinking and planning
• Inter-personal skills
• Advanced skills in Microsoft Office software (Word, Excel and Powerpoint).
