The Corporate Application System Lead focuses on workflow applications and information digitization projects. He/She ensures that the digitization initiatives are implemented in collaboration with product owners, stakeholders, ITS teams and IT vendors (where necessary). He or she will also be responsible for managing the design, deployment, and optimizing corporate applications including business process requirements alignment, solution software evaluation and selection, infrastructure requirements review and application design specification definition.
Success in this role will require you to fulfill the following responsibilities:
Digital Solution Development:
1. Collaborate with internal customers to understand needs to digitize a process and make recommendations covering people, process and technology aspects.
2. Designs, develops, and implements solutions using a mix of off-the-shelf, software-as-a-service, open-source, and custom-built software.
3. Follow established system development processes and user tools and technologies that are consistent with existing solutions, infrastructure, and support capabilities.
4. Thoroughly document all solutions so they can be efficiently supported and maintained.
5. Troubleshoot, fix defects, and extend the functionality of existing websites, systems, applications, mobile apps, and content management systems
6. Contribute to the ongoing development of the team by offering recommendations in the areas of process improvement and new technologies
7. Complete other projects as assigned by the Digital Development Manager
Solution Architecting:
1. Work with new as well as existing internal customers on the review, recommendations, and implementation of business process optimization initiatives.
2. Collaborate with Project Managers/Product Owners, ITS groups and professionals as regards execution of business information system projects.
3. Be responsible for working with clients to ensure business needs and requirements are properly identified, analyzed and documented.
4. Translate customer business requirements into workable business solutions, either as software solutions or a re-engineering initiative. The proposed solution must contain architecture (system design and data model) as well as implementation and end-user training plans.
5. Manage the architecture documentation for business information systems following the Enterprise Architecture framework.
6. Identify and manage resources for the IT projects including budget, time table, technical specifications, outsourcing approach and vendor recommendation.
7. Keep up-to-date on new business requirements and commercial technology features/functionalities by constant coordination with clients, reading documentation and learning hands-on. Example is documenting and validating customer's business requirements and mapping to NetSuite functionalities.
8. Act as Liaison between SEAOIL and IT vendors whenever necessary.
Expectations from the Candidates
Candidates who are invited for HR screening will need to undergo and pass an online exam and/or technical exam, and accomplish HR documents, personality tests, and essay exams before proceeding to the HR interview.
Candidates who pass the HR interview would then need to submit soft copies of their available pre-employment requirements, such as the Transcript of Records, Diploma, and NBI clearance. The complete list will be provided by the recruiter.
In the event candidates are hired, they would be required to submit hard copies of all the pre-employment requirements and pass the medical exam and background check before onboarding.
