Corporate Accounting Manager

B.Grimm Solar Power Inc. is seeking a highly experienced and results-driven Certified Public Accountant (CPA) to lead and manage the company's corporate accounting, taxation, financial reporting, budgeting, and compliance functions in support of the development, construction, acquisition, financing, and operations of utility-scale and commercial solar power projects in the Philippines.

The successful candidate must possess extensive experience in taxation and accounting within the renewable energy, power, infrastructure, or project development sectors, with strong familiarity in solar power project structures, EPC and O&M accounting, project SPVs, merger and acquisition transactions, BIR compliance and interfacing, financial reporting, audit management, and financial planning.

This role requires a highly analytical and commercially oriented finance professional capable of working in a fast-paced and multi-project environment while ensuring full compliance with Philippine accounting, taxation, and regulatory requirements.

The role is based in the Makati Office and requires occasional local travel to project sites, government agencies, financial institutions, and business meetings as necessary.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and oversee full accounting operations across the company and project entities/SPVs
• Ensure accurate financial reporting, month-end/year-end closing, and compliance with PFRS, IFRS, and company policies
• Manage taxation and BIR compliance, including VAT, income tax, withholding tax, audits, and regulatory requirements
• Support solar power projects during development, construction, and operations by monitoring project costs, budgets, cash flow, and CAPEX/OPEX
• Partner closely with project management, engineering, procurement, legal, and commercial teams on financial matters and project execution
• Prepare management reports, budgeting, forecasting, financial analysis, and investment evaluations for leadership decision-making
• Support M&A activities, due diligence, project finance, and investment transactions for renewable energy projects
• Coordinate external audits, regulatory submissions, and compliance with government agencies and energy-sector stakeholders
• Strengthen internal controls, financial governance, and process improvements
• Lead and mentor finance and accounting team members while working closely with regional and cross-functional stakeholders

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's Degree in Accountancy and CPA licensed in the Philippines
• Minimum 8–10 years of progressive experience in accounting and finance, with managerial responsibilities
• Strong experience in accounting, taxation, and BIR compliance
• Background in renewable energy, solar power, infrastructure, construction, or project development industries
• Proven experience in financial reporting, project accounting, budgeting, forecasting, and audits
• Experience in M&A, project finance, and investment transactions is highly preferred
• Strong leadership, stakeholder management, and analytical skills
