Corporate Accountant
WHAT YOU'LL DO
1. Bookkeeping & transactions
- Bookkeeping, data entry, and bank reconciliations across multiple Australian entities
- Credit card data entry and expense coding
- Debtor, creditor, and payroll functions
2. Reconciliations & ledger integrity
- General ledger account reconciliations and resolution of reconciling items
- Maintaining clean, well-supported, and well-documented balances
3. Reporting & analysis
- Management reporting and supporting materials for senior leadership
- Variance analysis — actuals vs. budget
4. ATO compliance & tax
- Preparation and lodgement of BAS/IAS, income tax returns, and excise returns
- Supporting reconciliations and financial information underpinning each lodgement
5. Stakeholder management
- Liaising with external bank relationship managers as required
- Referring significant journals and judgement items to the Senior Corporate Accountant before posting
WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR
1. At least 5 years of experience in an accounting role
2. Strong knowledge of accounting principles, auditing standards, and relevant regulations
3. Experience in Xero and familiarity with Australian tax obligations (BAS/IAS, GST, income tax) preferred
4. Advanced Microsoft Excel skills — VLOOKUPs, HLOOKUPs, macros
5. Proficient in Microsoft Outlook and Teams
6. Strong verbal and written English communication skills
7. Highly organised, detail-oriented, and able to work independently
8. CA / CPA qualification — or currently working towards one — is an advantage
9. Industry background in beverage, FMCG, manufacturing, or real estate is a plus
10. Comfortable working 6:00 AM – 3:00 PM PH time, onsite four days per week
