Job Description

The Product Specialist is the operational engine and backbone of the Core Data team. Operating at a Supervisory Level, this role takes ownership of all technical hygiene, system data integrity, and process standardization, completely removing the administrative and operational burden from the strategic Product Managers.

This specialist ensures the house is clean, managing complex system migrations (e.g., VPN Express), executing product sunsets, and administering the newly implemented automated rate cards. By shielding the PMs from routine execution tasks, this role ensures the leadership team can focus 100% on revenue generation and market strategy.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Operational Governance & Process Optimization: Serves as the primary custodian of product operations. Continuously refines end-to-end workflows in collaboration with technical engineering teams (PDE/TPE) to eliminate bottlenecks, ensure audit compliance, and enforce Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).

  • System Migration & Lifecycle Leadership: Acts as the dedicated project lead for critical system transitions (partnering with DMCP). Manages the migration of customer data and product catalogs from legacy platforms to modern stacks without disrupting commercial activities. Executes the retirement of obsolete SKUs to keep the portfolio clean.

  • Contract & Commercial Hygiene: Manages the administrative backlog of contract reviews and non-standard term approvals. Ensures legal and regulatory compliance while accelerating the Quote-to-Cash cycle for the sales team.

  • Revenue Assurance & Audit Support: Conducts regular reconciliation of billing data against contracted inventory to identify and prevent revenue leakage. Serves as the primary point of contact for internal and external product audits.

  • Sales Enablement & Cross-Functional Coordination: Acts as the operational bridge between Product, Engineering, and IT, fielding routine keep-the-lights-on requests. Maintains and updates the central library of sales collateral (battlecards, FAQs, rate cards) to ensure frontline teams have the most current product information.


REQUIREMENTS:

  • 2 to 4+ years of experience in Telecom Operations, Sales Operations, IT Project Management, Business Process Improvement, or Data Administration.

  • EXPERT LEVEL: Process standardization, system data hygiene, CRM/Billing system workflows, and operational bottleneck identification.

  • ADVANCED LEVEL: Product lifecycle administration (specifically the execution of product sunsets and system migrations), internal communications, and automated rate card administration.

  • WORKING LEVEL: High-level telecom network architectures (needs to understand the product is to migrate it in the system, but not how to engineer it), basic P&L metrics, and enterprise B2B sales cycles.

  • Soft Skills: Extreme attention to detail relentless follow-through cross-functional project management high organizational skills ability to manage multiple administrative workstreams simultaneously.

  • Hard Skills: Advanced data analysis (Excel/SQL) understanding of system architecture workflows CRM and Billing system administration technical writing (SOPs, bulletins).

  • Education: Bachelor's Degree in Information Technology, Business Administration, Industrial Engineering, or a related field

  • Certification/License:ITIL v4 Foundation ,Project Management Professional (PMP) or CAPM, Six Sigma (Green Belt or Yellow Belt), Pricing Strategy or CRM Administration Certification
