Copywriter (Quotations & Client Proposals) — Remote, Full-Time

A UK air conditioning company is hiring a full-time remote copywriter to handle their customer quotations. This is a writing role, not a technical one. The surveyor gathers everything on site, and your job is to turn those notes into a quotation the customer actually wants to say yes to.

Their quotes sit in the £10,000 to £13,000 range for a typical home, so the writing has to earn that number. Right now their quotations are accurate but flat, and they want someone who can make the work sound worth what it costs.

What You'll Do

Take survey notes and voice reports and turn them into clear, persuasive customer quotations
Describe the work room by room so the customer understands exactly what they're getting and why it's priced the way it is
Pull pricing from the company's standard price list and make sure totals are accurate
Work from existing templates and procedures, keeping formatting and tone consistent
Use AI tools to speed things up, then rewrite properly so nothing reads like generic AI output
Check grammar, spelling, numbers, and detail before anything goes out
Flag anything missing or unclear in the survey notes before writing
Follow up on outstanding quotations and support general admin as needed

Expected volume is around 5 quotations a day.

What We're Looking For

Excellent written English. This is the single most important requirement
Able to write persuasively, not just accurately. Customers should finish reading and feel confident, not just informed
Strong attention to detail, especially with numbers, measurements, and names
Comfortable using AI tools but with the judgment to know when a draft needs real rewriting
Reliable and organized, able to work independently once trained
Prior experience supporting a UK-based company preferred
No HVAC or technical background required. Full training is provided

Copywriting, marketing, journalism, communications, editorial, or proposal writing backgrounds are all welcome.
