Job Description

We're looking for a Copywriter Assistant who has a passion for crafting persuasive, conversion-focused copy. This role supports our creative and marketing teams in producing engaging content that drives sales, builds brand awareness, and connects with our audience. You'll work closely with the lead copywriter or marketing manager to draft, edit, and optimize copy for sales emails, marketing campaigns, landing pages, and social media.

You will be responsible for completing email marketing and copywriting work as required. You may use AI tools to assist with ideation, drafting, and optimization as long as you can refine and edit for voice, grammar, and clarity to ensure everything aligns with the brand message and drives sales in a positive direction.

Responsibilities

  • Assist in writing and editing high-converting copy for email campaigns, sales pages, product descriptions, and website content
  • Support the creation of sales and nurture email sequences that engage subscribers and boost conversion rates
  • Conduct research on target audiences, competitors, and trends to guide messaging and tone
  • Collaborate with designers and marketing strategists to align copy with visuals and brand messaging
  • Optimize existing content for clarity, tone, and performance
  • Assist in A/B testing and performance tracking of copy to improve results
  • Maintain brand voice consistency across all written materials
  • Write short-form copy for ads, headlines, and CTAs that encourage clicks and conversions

Requirements

  • 1-2 years of experience in copywriting, content writing, or marketing (internship or freelance experience accepted)
  • Excellent written English skills grammar, tone, and storytelling
  • Strong understanding of sales psychology and how to write copy that converts
  • Familiarity with email marketing tools (e.g., Klaviyo, Mailchimp, HubSpot) is a plus
  • Basic knowledge of SEO and digital marketing strategies
  • Ability to effectively use AI tools (such as ChatGPT, Jasper, or Copy.ai) to support content creation while maintaining brand authenticity and human tone
  • Detail-oriented, organized, and able to follow creative briefs and instructions

Preferred Skills

  • Experience writing eCommerce or digital marketing copy
  • Understanding of funnels, customer journeys, and audience segmentation
  • Ability to adapt tone and style for different brands and industries
  • Basic familiarity with A/B testing tools and performance metrics
