The Conversion Records Senior Manager is responsible for the oversight and management of a team responsible for the conversion and implementation of participant plan data of new clients. Provides participant review and coordination for large, mega, not-for-profit and government defined contribution plans. Requires extensive knowledge of defined contribution benefit recordkeeping systems along with defined benefit plan provisions and Empower service offerings. Must be capable of developing and maintaining relationships between interdepartmental teams and providing oversight and project leadership to assigned plans. Incumbent is accountable for the successful transfer of participant plan data into the Empower production environment.
What you will do
- Hire, train, coach, mentor and provide feedback to a team of 10 Implementation Analysts, including all aspects related to performance management.
- Monitor production and capacity levels of team, balancing overtime and time off requests to maintain service standards.
- Responsible for the resolution of complex escalations associated with assigned plans as necessary
- Obtain and document knowledge of new processes or capabilities impacting Empower services.
- Responsible for analyzing the internal record keeping platform (EASY) along with prior record keeper files and recommending enhancements to management and project teams to create efficiencies relative to production level processes and result in an enhanced client experience from a total implementation perspective.
- Accountable for the independent review of participant data received via prior client reporting documents
- Execute and distribute both internally and externally, Service Level Agreement and Plan Production Timing reports for the purpose of communicating data management opportunities to the client while also insuring that intended processes are executed as expected and operational refinement needs are identified.
- Recommend and adhere to documented project plan procedures designed to minimize market risks and gain/loss errors across the Implementation organization.
- Strong knowledge of regulatory compliance and defined contribution plan documents is required.
What you will bring
- Bachelor's Degree in Business or related field preferred
- FINRA Fingerprinting required.
- 5-7+ years Implementation or related work experience
- 5 Years prior management experience is preferred.
- Proficient knowledge of custom investments is preferred.
- Proficient user of Excel with knowledge of formulas and VLOOKUP functionality
- Strong knowledge of internal record keeping system preferred
- Strong knowledge of regulatory compliance and defined contribution plan documents is required.
