Job Description
The Controllership Manager oversees accounting, financial reporting, internal control, and tax management to ensure compliance, accuracy, and sound financial governance. The role provides financial insights to support business decisions and safeguard company assets.
Key Responsibilities
Accounting and Financial Reporting(会计与财务报告)
- Oversee the company's accounting and financial reporting to ensure accuracy, completeness, and compliance with applicable standards.
- Ensure timely preparation and submission of internal and external financial statements.
Internal Control and Compliance(内部控制与合规管理)
- Establish, maintain, and continuously improve the company's internal control system to safeguard assets and ensure sound financial management.
- Ensure compliance with all financial regulations, accounting standards, and company policies.
Strategic and Financial Leadership(战略与财务管理指导)
- Provide financial insights and leadership to support the company's strategic initiatives and decision-making.
- Participate in business planning, risk assessment, and performance improvement efforts.
Tax Management(税务管理)
- Oversee tax management activities, ensuring accurate accrual, timely filing, and payment of all taxes and fees.
- Conduct periodic tax self-inspections, coordinate responses to tax audits, and organize tax planning to ensure compliance and optimization.
Other Duties(其他工作)
- Perform other financial management tasks and special assignments as authorized by senior leadership.
Employment Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accountancy or related field; holding a CPA (Certified Public Accountant) or CMA (Certified Management Accountant) certification is an advantage.
- At least 7 years of experience in general accounting or financial management; experience in the telecommunications industry is an advantage.
- Solid understanding of accounting principles, financial reporting, and general ledger (GL) processes; familiarity with company financial management, auditing, taxation, and internal control procedures.
- Strong leadership, strategic thinking, and communication skills; able to manage and develop teams, align financial strategies with business goals, and present financial information clearly and effectively.
- Fluent in English, both spoken and written; proficiency in Chinese is an advantage but not mandatory.
