Overview
iSupport Worldwide is seeking a Controller to lead day-to-day accounting operations and ensure accurate, GAAP-compliant financial reporting across a multi-entity platform. This is a critical leadership role responsible for building scalable accounting processes, strengthening internal controls, and ensuring financial data is timely, reliable, and decision ready. The Controller will work closely with senior finance leadership and cross-functional teams to support growth and operational excellence.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and oversee all accounting functions, including corporate accounting, multi-entity accounting, intercompany transactions, accounts payable, accounts receivable, and consolidations.
- Own the monthly, quarterly, and annual close processes, ensuring timely and accurate GAAP-compliant financial reporting.
- Maintain responsibility for the general ledger, account reconciliations, accruals, prepaid expenses, and fixed asset accounting.
- Ensure strong internal controls, approval workflows, and segregation of duties across all accounting processes.
- Oversee cash management activities including bank reconciliations, cash movement, entity-level visibility, and reserve tracking.
- Produce executive-level financial reports, dashboards, and KPIs in partnership with finance leadership.
- Support audits, tax deliverables, investor reporting, and lender reporting by providing clean data, documentation, and timely responses.
- Build and continuously improve scalable accounting infrastructure, standardized processes, and system integrations to support growth.
- Lead selection, implementation, and optimization of accounting systems and tools, including ERP and reporting platforms.
- Hire, develop, and manage a high-performing accounting team, fostering accountability, accuracy, and professional development.
- Partner closely with leadership and other departments to provide financial insights that support decision-making.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- CPA strongly preferred.
- At least 10 years of progressive accounting or finance experience, including people leadership.
- Strong experience managing multi-entity and multi-company accounting, consolidations, and intercompany structures.
- Proven expertise in GAAP, internal controls, and audit readiness.
- Hands-on experience overseeing AP and AR functions, including controls and reconciliation processes.
- Advanced proficiency in Excel and comfort working with modern finance and reporting systems.
- Experience with ERP systems is required; NetSuite experience is essential.
- Strong leadership, organizational, and communication skills with the ability to translate financial data into clear business insights.
