Job brief

We are seeking a Software Engineer to manage the full software development lifecycle by designing, developing, and maintaining well-structured, efficient, and testable code that meets business and technical requirements.

Responsibilities

• Develop new software features and improve the architecture of existing systems.
• Participate in test-driven and iterative development, prototyping, and code reviews with the development team.
• Design and develop clean, efficient middle-tier and backend applications.
• Build scalable, reliable, and robust software services.
• Develop and maintain internal and external APIs and web services.
• Develop and execute unit and performance tests to ensure system scalability and reliability.
• Review, debug, and troubleshoot code to identify and resolve software issues.
• Prepare technical documentation, flowcharts, layouts, diagrams, charts, and code comments to explain software solutions.
• Define system specifications, programming standards, and technical requirements to support software implementation and deployment.
  
  

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Software Engineering, Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
• At least 1–3 years of experience in software engineering or application development.
• Experience developing server-side web applications using Java.
• Experience developing Java web services and APIs, such as REST and SOAP.
• Experience with relational databases, such as MySQL and PostgreSQL, and NoSQL databases, such as MongoDB.
• Proficiency in object-oriented programming and development.
• Ability to learn and adapt quickly to new technologies.
• Knowledge of Java frameworks, software architecture, and design patterns.
• Good communication and problem-solving skills.
