Job Responsibilities

Responsible for supervising the operational functions of the Security Control Room to ensure a safe, secure and comfortable environment within NUSTAR is maintained.
Responsible for ensuring that a high level of effective support is provided to all departments and a high level of customer service is provided to customers and supports the Surveillance Control Room Shift Manager in overseeing the entire operations.
Monitor Key Performance objectives and perform performance appraisals on direct reports.
Complete conduct and counselling, feedback and encouragement duties.
Provide operations and staff performance reports to the Manager and Shift Manager of Surveillance Control Room.
Ensure adherence to the company and Surveillance Control Room operations and procedures.
Ensure proactive work efforts by staff including the use of cameras.
Provide accurate daily, weekly and monthly reports to the Manager and Shift Manager of Surveillance Control Room.
Observe and monitor persons on premises using camera system, respond to persons behaving suspiciously or unlawfully and report security breaches.
Allocate resources and tasks by responding to telephone/ radio requests, monitoring progression/completion of tasks, recording and logging of all relevant information.
Acknowledge, respond and record all alarms within appropriate time frame.
Maintain Security Access System and other system allocated in the Surveillance Control Room.
Supervise, monitor and coordinate communications during emergencies.
Supervise and assist with maintenance of radios and equipment.
Provide assistance and information to Security Operations.
Assist in training of new Surveillance Control Room Supervisors and Associates.
Perform additional tasks as required in Surveillance Control Room.
Supervise performance of administrative tasks including reports and compilation of statistics.

Deliver CCTV monitoring services to Retailers and Hotel environs as contracted.
Lead manpower planning, recruitment, and selection to ensure adequate staffing levels and quality hires.
Oversee workforce scheduling, resource allocation, and compliance with company policies.
Champion Surveillance CORE Values - Vigilance, Integrity, Confidentiality, Accountability, Teamwork and Professionalism.
Recommend and/or execute management policies to hire, transfer, suspend, layoff, recall, discharge, re-assign, or discipline employees.
To execute other duties as directed by the Surveillance Control Room Shift Manager.

Qualifications

Minimum of 3 years IR Casino Control Operation Supervisory experience, preferably within a CCTV environment.
Well-developed knowledge of security access control systems, fire and alarms system and principles.
Proficient in Responsible Gaming and Self-Exclusion policies.
College graduate of any bachelor course/degree.
Ability to speak and write in English.
Proficient with Microsoft Suite of products and keyboard skills.
Experience with security access control systems is essential.
Experience with Photo ID applications favorable.
Demonstrated teamwork and leadership.
Organized with high level of attention to detail and ability to work autonomously.
