JOB DESCRIPTION Under the immediate supervision of the Division Chief, the Statistician II is responsible for generating statistical data using the prescribed software for analysis, providing support in preparing statistical and technical reports, and executing additional tasks as directed by the Statistics Division Chief and/or Director. | |||
Functions and Responsibilities: | |||
1. Generates sub-national target allocations and eligible beneficiary lists for social protection programs and initiatives, including but not limited to the Pantawid Pamilyang Pilipino Program (4Ps), Social Pension for Indigent Senior Citizens, and the Tara Basa! Tutoring Program, in accordance with approved targeting parameters and program requirements 2. Prepares analyzes, and submits statistical reports, datasets, and analytical outputs to support decision-making, policy development, program implementation, and performance monitoring 3. Maintains, updates and analyzes performance dashboards, monitoring trackers, statistical bulletins and other data products to facilitate the timely reporting and visualization of key indicators and accomplishments 4. Assists the Section Head in the preparation of statistical reports, presentation materials, correspondence, meeting documentation, activity proposals, and other technical and administrative outputs 5. Facilitates requests for statistical data and information, including Freedom of Information (FOI) requests, and ensures the timely, accurate, and appropriate provision of data to internal and external stakeholders in accordance with applicable policies and data governance standards 6. Performs other related duties and functions as may be assigned by the Statistics Division Chief and/or higher management. | |||
