JOB DESCRIPTION Under the immediate supervision of the Information Technology Officer II (functional) and the supervising Administrative Officer (administrative), the Information System Analyst I shall assist in the gathering, validation, and documentation of various system information and needs. | |||
Functions and Responsibilities: | |||
1. Liaise with programmers/developers and users of information technology modules/solutions 2. Analyze existing FMS systems and business models 3. Map and document interfaces between old and new systems 4. Understand the software development lifecycle 5. Translate FMS requirements into highly specified project briefs 6. Identify options for potential solutions and assess them for both technical and business suitability 7. Conduct requirements analysis and prepare specific proposals for modified or replacement systems and 8. Perform other tasks that may be assigned by the supervisors. | |||
