Job Description

The Contracts & Asset Management Analyst plays a vital role in supporting the commercial, contractual, and asset management activities of energy infrastructure projects, including but not limited to Batter Energy Storage Systems (BESS). This position is responsible for coordinating with contractors, ensuring timely and accurate processing of payments, and managing contract-related activities including execution, amendment, and cancellation. The role also includes oversight of project compliance, audit coordination, and response to technical lender inquiries.

On the asset management side, the Analyst helps implement long-term service agreements (LTSA), monitor performance guarantees, manage procurement and inventory of spare parts, and support the operation of site and central warehouses. The role is also instrumental in the implementation of asset management systems like Maximo, and ensures effective tracking, auditing, and reporting of inventory and project milestones.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate commercial issues with third-party contractors.
  • Process EPC/contractor payments through PRM.
  • Coordinate substantial and final completion of projects.
  • Monitor and coordinate resolution of technical audit findings.
  • Consolidate project permits and licenses incompliance with Lenders.
  • Coordinate quarterly site visits by Lenders Technical Advisor (LTA).
  • Submit quarterly construction status reports to LTA in coordination with site team.
  • Coordinate responses to lender inquiries.
  • Monitoring of Long-Term Service Agreement (LTSA) performance guarantees.
  • Review and execution of contracts.
  • Process LTSA O&M fee payments.
  • Coordinate the purchasing of equipment spares.
  • Establish minimum spare parts inventory levels.
  • Maintain warehouse inventory item stock levels.
  • Conduct warehouse inventory audits.
  • Monitor implementation of asset management software solution.

Qualifications:

  1. Must have a BS Degree in Mechanical/Electrical Engineering & other related engineering degree, licensed with at least 2-3 years experience in power plant processes.
  2. With 2-3 years of relevant experience in contracts administration, commercial operations, project management, or asset management, preferable within the energy, utilities, or infrastructure sectors.
  3. Has experience in using asset management systems, (e.g., IBM Maxim, SAP, Oracle) is preferable.
  4. Strong written communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills,
  5. Capable to attend internal and external work-related meetings
