We are seeking a remote Digital Marketing Specialist (Email Marketing Focus) to support a growing marine dock supplies distribution business based in Florida, USA. This is a full-time, contractor role focused on driving customer engagement and revenue through well-executed email marketing campaigns, supported by strong copywriting and technical execution across marketing tools.

The ideal candidate has hands-on experience in email marketing for product-based, e-commerce or B2B environments, and is comfortable working closely with sales and customer-facing teams. This role involves managing email campaigns that support inbound leads, customer retention, and promotional initiatives, with opportunities to contribute to broader digital marketing efforts such as content, SEO-driven writing, and social media as needed.

We are looking to match this specialist with a privately owned company specializing in the distribution of marine dock parts and supplies, with a strong and growing e-commerce operation. The business serves both B2B and B2C customers and is focused on driving revenue through efficient sales processes, targeted marketing, and an excellent customer experience.As the company continues to scale, they are seeking a dedicated digital marketing professional who can support customer acquisition, lead nurturing, and retention efforts, primarily through high-performing email campaigns. This role will play a key part in converting inbound interest, supporting sales initiatives, and strengthening long-term customer relationships across domestic and international markets.

Responsibilities

  • Plan, build, and execute email marketing campaigns including promotional, lifecycle, and automated flows
  • Write clear, engaging, and conversion-focused email copy
  • Manage and optimize campaigns using Klaviyo
  • Collaborate on email-related content that may overlap with blog or SEO-driven writing
  • Analyze campaign performance and continuously optimize for engagement and revenue
  • Support e-commerce marketing initiatives across multiple products or brands industry.

Requirements

Education & Experience

  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, Communications, or a related field is preferred
  • 3+ years of remote work experience in digital marketing, with a strong focus on email marketing
  • Proven experience working in e-commerce or product-based environments (B2B, B2C, or both)
  • Hands-on experience with Klaviyo for campaign execution, automation, and performance optimization
  • Strong copywriting skills, particularly for promotional, lifecycle, and retention emails
  • Experience collaborating with sales, customer support, or revenue teams to support lead nurturing and customer engagement
  • Strong written English communication skills (clear, concise, and conversion-focused)
  • Technically comfortable working with multiple marketing tools and platforms

Nice To Have Skills

  • Familiarity with Shopify or other e-commerce platforms
  • Experience with SEO or blog-style content writing to support email campaigns
  • Basic design skills or familiarity with Photoshop or similar tools
  • Exposure to Meta (Facebook/Instagram) social media marketing
  • Experience supporting both B2B and B2C products

Benefits

  • Monthly compensation range of $2,000-$3,000 USD, depending on experience and demonstrated competency
  • Monthly health and wellness reimbursement, capped at $50 USD
