Katalyst.ph provides seed capital to promising startup ideas, groups, and companies. Our office evaluates opportunities based on the potential impact that the startup might have on the local community.

Among the latest projects of Katalyst.ph is supporting a tech-based startup, which aims to find and execute sustainable ways of farming and distributing fish (e.g. canned fish) for international export. We're looking for a Contract Project Manager with pisciculture or fish mongering experience to work in this startup.

• Arranges and attends meetings with prospective partners by traveling and meeting clients and vendors as necessary.

• Takes action on possible growth opportunities to get the startup up and running.

• Meets the startup goals and requirements by planning, executing, and monitoring projects without compromising the target timeline and budget.

• Processes all the necessary business requirements, documentation, and regulatory paperwork.

• Trains and orients on-boarding members of the team.

• Works closely with the team to achieve project completion.

• Reports directly to a supervisory project manager and company management by providing regular updates on current tasks and project progress.

• Performs other administrative and management tasks as required by management.

Minimum Qualifications

• Must possess at least a Bachelor's Degree, preferably BS Fisheries and Aquatic Resources degree

• Extensive knowledge and experience in pisciculture and fish mongering, specifically in fish species, fishing seasons, fishery markets and distribution channels, and fishing standards and regulations.

• Proven work experience in project management, which includes (but not limited to) strategic planning, risk management, and client-vendor relationship management.

• Strong organizational and communication (written and verbal) skills.

• Proven expertise in project leadership and conflict resolution.

• Willing to work in Makati City.
