Job Description

We are seeking a professional Contract Administrator to lead and oversee the operational and commercial management of contract agreements and Service Level Agreements (SLAs) for our high-head Hydropower Development Projects. This critical role spans the feasibility and pre-development phases, ensuring that all works—from massive civil infrastructure to complex electromechanical installations—adhere strictly to FIDIC international standards.

As a key bridge between technical execution, procurement, and legal compliance, you will evaluate proposals, mitigate risks, and ensure seamless delivery from inception to project execution.

Key Responsibilities

  • Contract & SLA Management: Manage and deliver consultancy contracts and SLAs, driving the highest standards of contract compliance.
  • FIDIC Implementation: Apply expert knowledge of FIDIC Conditions of Contract to manage complex hydropower studies, geotechnical activities, and stakeholder agreements.
  • Risk & Legal Collaboration: Partner closely with Legal and Risk teams to manage environmental compliance, legal exposures, and FIDIC-based rules.
  • Procurement Support: Drive procurement processes to ensure contractors and consultants meet the stringent technical requirements of hydro systems.
  • Cross-Functional Interface: Coordinate smoothly with Finance, Supply Chain, and Regulatory groups regarding contract health, budgets, and mandated notices.
  • Stakeholder Reporting: Maintain transparent reporting on milestones and budget health for management, shareholders, and project teams.

What We Are Looking For

Experience & Education:

  • Minimum 5 years of related working experience with a strong focus on strategic planning, management, and contract delivery within the power sector (specifically involving power plants, transmission lines, and substations).
  • Proven track record in contract and commercial negotiations, successfully managing budgets, and delivering multidimensional projects.
  • Bachelor's degree in Any Engineering course (Civil Engineering is highly preferred) or a Pre-law course.

Technical & Core Competencies:

  • FIDIC Expert: Deep familiarity with FIDIC terminologies (e.g., Variations, Extension of Time [EOT], Determination by the Engineer, and Defects Notification Period). FIDIC courses/formal training are a major advantage.
  • Procurement & Negotiation: Proven capability in vendor selection, bargaining terms, and establishing sound, long-term commercial relationships.
  • Risk Management: Skilled in planning, identifying, analyzing, and implementing responses to project risks.
  • Soft Skills: Exceptional technical writing, stakeholder management, interpersonal communication, and a meticulous, self-organized approach to work.
