We are seeking a professional Contract Administrator to lead and oversee the operational and commercial management of contract agreements and Service Level Agreements (SLAs) for our high-head Hydropower Development Projects. This critical role spans the feasibility and pre-development phases, ensuring that all works—from massive civil infrastructure to complex electromechanical installations—adhere strictly to FIDIC international standards.
As a key bridge between technical execution, procurement, and legal compliance, you will evaluate proposals, mitigate risks, and ensure seamless delivery from inception to project execution.
Key Responsibilities
- Contract & SLA Management: Manage and deliver consultancy contracts and SLAs, driving the highest standards of contract compliance.
- FIDIC Implementation: Apply expert knowledge of FIDIC Conditions of Contract to manage complex hydropower studies, geotechnical activities, and stakeholder agreements.
- Risk & Legal Collaboration: Partner closely with Legal and Risk teams to manage environmental compliance, legal exposures, and FIDIC-based rules.
- Procurement Support: Drive procurement processes to ensure contractors and consultants meet the stringent technical requirements of hydro systems.
- Cross-Functional Interface: Coordinate smoothly with Finance, Supply Chain, and Regulatory groups regarding contract health, budgets, and mandated notices.
- Stakeholder Reporting: Maintain transparent reporting on milestones and budget health for management, shareholders, and project teams.
What We Are Looking For
Experience & Education:
- Minimum 5 years of related working experience with a strong focus on strategic planning, management, and contract delivery within the power sector (specifically involving power plants, transmission lines, and substations).
- Proven track record in contract and commercial negotiations, successfully managing budgets, and delivering multidimensional projects.
- Bachelor's degree in Any Engineering course (Civil Engineering is highly preferred) or a Pre-law course.
Technical & Core Competencies:
- FIDIC Expert: Deep familiarity with FIDIC terminologies (e.g., Variations, Extension of Time [EOT], Determination by the Engineer, and Defects Notification Period). FIDIC courses/formal training are a major advantage.
- Procurement & Negotiation: Proven capability in vendor selection, bargaining terms, and establishing sound, long-term commercial relationships.
- Risk Management: Skilled in planning, identifying, analyzing, and implementing responses to project risks.
- Soft Skills: Exceptional technical writing, stakeholder management, interpersonal communication, and a meticulous, self-organized approach to work.
