Job Description

Peak Outsourcing is seeking a Content Writer with a strong foundation in content creation, copywriting, and proposal development. This person will be responsible for producing high-quality written materials and collateral that support brand awareness, demand generation, sales enablement, and business development through responses to Requests for Proposals (RFPs), Requests for Information (RFIs), and other client-facing documentation.

This role is writing-centric but also offers exposure to broader marketing functions, including campaign support and content strategy development. It's a great opportunity for someone who wants to hone professional B2B copywriting skills and learn how compelling content directly impacts client acquisition and company growth.

Key Responsibilities

Content Creation & Copywriting

Research, write, and edit persuasive written content for a variety of mediums, including:

Website pages and landing pages

Emails, newsletters, and nurture content

Social and LinkedIn copy

Marketing collateral and thought leadership pieces

Case studies and customer testimonials

Sales decks and presentations

White papers and long-form content

Ensure all content aligns with Peak's brand voice, messaging, and quality standards.

Proposal & RFI/RFP Development

Draft clear, client-focused responses to RFIs, RFPs, and similar solicitation documents.

Review incoming RFI/RFP requirements and organize information gathering.

Collaborate with subject matter experts and internal stakeholders (e.g., sales, operations, leadership) to collect accurate, compelling content.

Customize boilerplate content to align with client priorities and win themes.

Write, edit, and proofread proposal materials for clarity, compliance, tone, and consistency.

Content Strategy & Collaboration

Partner with marketing, sales, and other internal teams to plan and sequence content that supports growth goals.

Participate in content planning meetings, contribute ideas, and help maintain a content library for reuse.

Support campaign content execution, such as email sends, landing page updates, and social content rollout.

Research & Accuracy

Conduct research to better understand industry topics, customer needs, and competitive positioning.

Translate complex concepts and technical information into audience-friendly language.

Ensure factual accuracy and relevance in all materials.

Requirements

25 years of experience in marketing content writing, copywriting, or related communications roles.

Strong written and verbal communication skills; excellent editing capabilities.

Experience responding to RFPs/RFIs or similar structured documents.

Ability to work collaboratively and communicate effectively with internal stakeholders to gather required input.

Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

Nice to Have

Familiarity with CMS, email marketing platforms, and basic marketing technology tools (e.g., HubSpot, Google Workspace, WordPress, Microsoft Teams, Canva).

Familiarity with marketing automation, SEO principles, or analytics tools.

Experience creating content that supports sales enablement.
