Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Communications, Marketing, Journalism, Broadcasting, English, or a related field
  • 1+ year of experience in content writing, copywriting, communications, journalism, or a related role
  • Strong English communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Strong writing, editing, proofreading, and research skills
  • Able to create content for different audiences and platforms
  • Able to write social media posts, LinkedIn content, articles, captions, and video scripts
  • Creative and able to develop content ideas, hooks, angles, and storylines
  • Able to turn complex topics and research into clear, engaging, and easy-to-understand content
  • Willing to research industry trends, audience behavior, and relevant topics
  • Able to adjust writing style, tone, and messaging based on the target audience
  • Portfolio or samples of written work are required

Responsibilities

  • Create engaging content for social media, websites, and marketing materials
  • Research topics and create fresh content ideas
  • Edit and proofread written materials
  • Ensure content follows Metacom's brand voice and messaging
  • Collaborate with the Marketing and Creative teams
  • Support content and campaign initiatives
