Job Description

  • Upload and organize content in WordPress, ensuring proper formatting, layout, and structure.
  • Manage content updates, revisions, and page publication schedules to align with business priorities.
  • Optimize images and multimedia for the web, maintaining quality and performance standards.
  • Review all uploaded content for accuracy, consistency, and adherence to brand guidelines.
  • Perform cross-browser and device testing to ensure content displays correctly.
  • Verify accessibility and usability compliance (e.g., WCAG).
  • Work closely with writers, designers, and marketing teams to coordinate content delivery and approval processes.
  • Communicate with developers to troubleshoot and resolve any WordPress-related issues.
  • Use basic design tools like Photoshop (or similar) to resize, crop, and optimize images for use on the site.
  • Adjust layout or styling using HTML and CSS to enhance page aesthetics when necessary.
  • Update menus, widgets, and other navigational elements in WordPress.
  • Ensure plugins and themes are up-to-date and functioning properly in collaboration with technical teams.
  • Maintain SOP of current processes and incorporate documentation updates as required
  • Perform moderately complex tasks in compliance with service level agreement, process, policies, and procedures
  • Contribute specialized expertise and provide key updates to manager on project status
  • Escalate issues and recommend resolutions and alternatives to manager

Qualifications

Minimum Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications and related discipline, or equivalent experience in business-to-business marketing, public relations, and project management
  • Two (2) + years of experience in similar content management or website maintenance role
  • Proficiency in WordPress, including content editing and media management.
  • Basic knowledge of HTML and CSS to adjust content layout or troubleshoot display issues.
  • Experience with Adobe Photoshop or similar tools for image optimization.
  • Strong organizational and project management skills to handle multiple content uploads and schedules.
  • Familiarity with SEO best practices for web content.
  • Understanding of web accessibility (e.g., WCAG guidelines).
  • Experience with content calendars or project management tools like Trello or Asana.
