We also operate Turn Key Ops, our sister company under the same leadership, which focuses on delivering high-quality virtual support across a broader range of industries.

Overview

We are looking for a detail-oriented Content Editor to review, edit, format, and publish content for clarity, accuracy, readability, and brand consistency. The ideal candidate has strong editing and proofreading skills, a good eye for detail, and experience formatting web content through CMS platforms such as WordPress. This role is best suited for someone who can improve content flow, catch small errors, follow brand voice, and communicate clearly when clarification is needed.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Edit and proofread written content for grammar, punctuation, spelling, clarity, and readability
  • Improve content flow, structure, tone, and overall quality
  • Format web content using headings, bullet points, links, and SEO-friendly structure
  • Upload, edit, and manage content through CMS platforms, especially WordPress
  • Optimize basic on-page SEO elements such as meta titles, meta descriptions, and keywords
  • Review content for brand voice, consistency, and formatting accuracy
  • Navigate page builders and post content without disrupting layout
  • Communicate clearly with the team and ask for clarification when needed
  • Respond promptly and professionally to content-related updates or requests

Required Skills & Qualifications

  • Strong editing and proofreading skills
  • Excellent grammar, punctuation, and spelling
  • Ability to improve clarity, flow, and readability
  • Familiarity with editing for tone and brand voice
  • Experience with web content formatting
  • Experience using CMS platforms, especially WordPress
  • Basic SEO knowledge, including meta titles, descriptions, and on-page keywords
  • Strong attention to detail and consistency
  • Clear written communication skills
  • Responsive, proactive, and able to work independently in a remote setup

Preferred Experience

  • Experience with WordPress page builders
  • Familiarity with tools like Yoast, Surfer, or Clearscope
  • Experience formatting SEO-friendly blog posts, landing pages, or website content
  • Experience working with content teams, marketing teams, or remote teams

Schedule, Compensation, and Benefits

  • Full-time schedule, Monday to Friday
  • Schedule will be within U.S. time zones
  • Starts at $5 USD/hour, with a possibility of a pay increase from a performance evaluation
  • 100% remote, long-term opportunity
