What You'll Do
We are seeking a creative, empathetic, and research-driven
Content Writer / Parenting Journey Content Specialist to develop engaging content that supports parents through key stages of their parenting journey. This role will focus on creating newsletter campaigns, producing solution-oriented articles, and building a comprehensive content library tailored to real parenting challenges.
Key Responsibility Areas
- Journey-Based Newsletters: Design and write the Parent Journey newsletter series. You will take our existing journey stages (Survival, Routine, Transition, etc.) and create the weekly layouts, choosing the right Hero topics and secondary links for each stage.
- Article Production: Write 5 Problem/Solution or related articles to each of the journeys. These should be deeply relatable, research-backed, and formatted for easy reading (scannable headers, bullet points).
- Continuous Improvement & Innovation
- Content Library Development: Build out the initial batch of content for each stage (minimum 3 articles per stage) covering topics like feeding, sleep regressions, and postpartum recovery.
What We're Looking For
- The Mom Lens: You understand the nuances of the parenting journey. You know the difference between the Survival Phase and the Exploration Phase because you've lived it or studied it deeply.
- Exceptional Writing: Ability to write with empathy and authority. You can switch between You've got this, mama encouragement and practical, checklist-style advice.
- Design/Layout Eye: Can give recommendations on what the newsletter should look like
- Self-Starter: You can take a high-level roadmap (like our CRM tactics) and turn it into a finished piece of content without heavy hand-holding
